Violet Chan Karim
Violet Chan Karim is a comic artist and writer from Boston, Massachusetts. Her love for cartoons, books, and movies as a child led to her pursuing a career in writing and illustration as an adult. She graduated with a BFA in Sequential Art from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2020. Violet’s debut graphic novel, Summer Vamp, will be published in 2024 with Random House Graphic. She also creates the webcomic, Death of a Pop Star, with Webtoon.

Veronica Agarwal is a Cartoonist and Illustrator from NYC. She graduated from SVA in May 2016 with a BFA in Cartooning. She loves plants, summertime, dogs and her three cats! Her work focuses on mental health, coming of age stories, and friendship.

Lee Durfey-Lavoie loves role-playing games and spending time with his cat. He's college drop-out who was able to find a career in writing.

Academy MetroWest is a children's group therapy program located in Sudbury. We run small, weekly, gym-based groups centering on the use of cooperative, non-competitive physical activity as a means of helping children enhance social skills and self-image. Children range in age from 6-15. Owing to our focus on social skills, our population is comprised primarily of children with ADHD, ASD, and/or other issues in which social skills delays figure prominently.
Our mission is to provide high-quality, evidence-based services for autistic children and their families through excellence in clinical training, compassionate family-centered practice, collaborative goal setting and fun, naturalistic teaching approaches to support each child’s unique strengths and needs.

We are mediators and help keep the lines of communication open between members, MassHealth, providers, or other parties. We offer support, and we respect everyone's unique story, boundaries, and goals.

Parent/Professional Advocacy League is a statewide, grassroots family organization that advocates for improved access to mental health services for children, youth and their families. PPAL’s goals are to support families, nurture parent leaders and work for systems change. PPAL is the only Massachusetts organization whose work focuses solely on the interests of families whose children have mental health needs.

Rachel Dorsey is a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Boston area who delivers neurodiversity-affirming care to autistic clients of all ages. She is also an accomplished educator, providing professional developments on neurodiversity-affirming practice nationally and internationally. Informed by her 8 years of clinical experience and lived experience as an autistic person, Rachel delivers speech-language therapy through a lens of compassion, curiosity, and respect for autistic clients and their families.
